In the "2020 China’s Happy Cities Forum" held on Nov. 18, Wenzhou stood out from the 100 shortlisted cities all over the country and won the title of "China's Happiest City". This is the 2 consecutive years that Wenzhou has been on the list of "China's Happiest City" and ranked first in the list of prefecture-level cities this year.

In addition, Lucheng District of Wenzhou was awarded the titles as the "Most Happiness District in 2020" and "The City with the Strongest Entrepreneur Happiness". The Rui'an City of Zhejiang Province was awarded the title of "Most Happiness City in 2020 (County-level City)”. And the Ouhai District of Wenzhou was awarded the title of "The City of Vitality and Innovation".

Here in Wenzhou, you can easily find out evidences from those residents-friendly service projects. In the process of urbanization development of China, as a national historical and cultural city, Wenzhou has more than 5,000 years of history of civilization and 2,200 years of history of urban construction.

Meanwhile, it is also the birthplace of Chinese Scenic Poetry, the hometown of Chinese Nanxi Opera, the origin of China's Mercantile Economics,  as well as the cradle of Chinese mathematicians.

In the process of spiritual cultivation, Wenzhou, the highland of China's "Reform and Opening-up", is an important birthplace of the private economy, advocating a new style of civilization.

In recent years, Wenzhou makes every effort to build a "Five Beauties" New Wenzhou with the collection of "Beautiful Scenery", "Beautiful Economy", "Beautiful Towns", "Beautiful Lives" and "Beautiful Humanities", which have made Wenzhou's happy competitiveness.

With a new model leading the high-quality development of the private economy, Wenzhou's GDP jumped into the list of “China’s Top 30 Cities” last year. It ranked 6th in China’s "Cities Business Environment Contest".
