Hangzhou Asian Games is under intense preparation, and large-scale supporting construction has inevitably produced a lot of muck. According to relevant data, most of the muck has been transported to other cities for making fertile land.
In the process of transferring the muck through the waterway, how is the environment prevention avoided? The process goes like this:
The engineering vehicles carrying muck are weighed at the weighbridge at the entrance of the wharf and then they move to the wharf. The muck is transported to the ship by the excavator and the conveyor belt. Through the auxiliary operation, the muck is evenly spread in the cabin. The wharf is equipped with spraying equipment and shielding plates to prevent the dust from flying around.
When the ship leaves the dock, the cabin loading the muck has been completely covered by rain-tight materials to prevent dust pollution.
Before leaving the dock, the engineering vehicles that have been unloaded must go through the clean area for washing, so as to prevent the residue of muck from being taken out.
The carbon emission of waterway transportation is only 1/30 of that of road transportation under the same total transportation volume. The muck is transported by boat from Hangzhou to other cities, and the transported muck can backfill and afforest the local mining area, increase the cultivated land area, and help the construction of "waste-free cities" in Zhejiang Province.
