On July 19, after receiving the order from the Fire and Rescue Department Ministry of Emergency Management, the Zhejiang Fire and Rescue Corps immediately mobilized the rescue forces of six detachments including Hangzhou, Ningbo, Jiaxing, Huzhou, Taizhou, with a total of 72 vehicles, 317 people, 44 boats and 3 remote water supply systems, and rushed to Anhui Province to participate in flood fighting and rescue work overnight.

Recently, heavy rainfall have affected 80 counties (cities and districts) in 14 cities of Anhui. As of July 19, the water levels at 7 hydrological station in the mainstream of the Yangtze River in Anhui all exceeded the warning line and continued to rise. According to statistics, there are 3.992 million people affected by the disaster in Anhui, 664,000 people were resettled urgently, the affected area of crops was 480.8 thousand hectares, and the direct economic loss was 15.27 billion yuan.
