Another big news about the development of Hangzhou: A new cross-river bridge will be built in the Fuyang District. 

The cross-river bridge will be named as Gongwang Bridge. After its completion in the future, it will connect with Golf Road of Fuyang and the Planned Road of Dongzhou Island.

It’s reported that currently, the project has kicked off its early-stage preparations. According to relevant sources of information, after the cross-river bridge is completed and opened to traffic in the future, it will effectively improve the traffic conditions of  Dongzhou Island and perfect the region’s road network system. It will also provide an important traffic guarantee for the Beizhi River Water Sports Center. Located on the southern bank of the Beizhi River of Fuyang, the Water Sports Center will undertake water sports events such as rowing and canoeing during the Asian Games.
