On the morning of August 12, Huzhou city held the establishment ceremony of Huzhou Talent Development Group, the first talent group in the Yangtze River Delta region. Municipal Party Committee Secretary Ma Xiaohui delivered a speech. Tan Jianrong, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, and Luo Jianbin, academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and leaders of the city including Yang Liushun and Xu Zhongyi attended the ceremony.

In his speech, Ma Xiaohui expressed his congratulations on behalf of the municipal party committee and the municipal government on the establishment of the municipal talent group. He said that talent is the first resource. In recent years, Huzhou has deeply implemented the strategy of strengthening the city by talents, and solidly promoted the series of talent introduction projects such as the “South Taihu Elite Plan”. It has won the outstanding talents assessment of the province for five consecutive years, and formed the gratifying situation in which the total number of talents is continuously increased, the continued optimization of the talent structure is promoted, and the role of talents is effectively exerted, thus providing strong support for economic and social development. At present, Huzhou, under the guidance of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, put the decision-making and deployment of the Party Central Committee and the Provincial Party Committee into full effects, and thoroughly implement the "one-four-six-ten" work system. Huzhou strives to build ecological models, green intellectual productions, lakeside tourism. Modern wisdom, hub city and beautiful and livable "six cities." It can be said that Huzhou needs talents more than ever.
