1952年

杭州市工人宿舍第一批工程动工，将在刀茅巷建筑区建造工人宿舍200间。

In 1952, the construction of the first batch of worker’s dormitories in Hangzhou was initiated. 200 workers’ dormitories would be built in the construction area of Daomao Lane.

日用工业品在农村市场颇受欢迎。

In 1972, industrial goods for daily use were popular on rural markets.

1980年

海宁县石路公社长田大队有六对男女青年结婚，其中三对是男到女家的“进门女婿”。

In 1980, six young couples got married at the Changtian Production Brigade of Shilu People’s Commune of Haining County. In the case of three couples, the husband became a “live-in son-in-law” of the family of the wife.

1989年8月5日，杭州居民生活逐渐改善，为购买冰箱，人们在武林广场通宵排队。

On August 5, 1989, citizens of Hangzhou witnessed an improvement of their life standard. They queued overnight at Wulin Plaza to purchase a fridge.

2000年

9月12日，一个月前落户嘉善的首批三峡移民，迎来了移居他乡后的第一个中秋节。

On September 12, 2000, the first batch of migrants from Three Gorges Area settled in Jiashan a month ago. It was the first Mid-Autumn Festival after their relocation.

2010年

11月5日，永嘉县楠溪江畔的张溪村115岁老人陈爱香家里，张灯结彩，　后代从四面八方赶来为老人祝寿，老人膝下230余位子孙六世同堂。

On November 5, 2010, the home of Chen Aixiang, a 115-year elderly, was decorated with lanterns and streamers in Zhangxi Village on the bank of Nanxi River, Yongjia County. Her descendants  came back to celebrate birthday for her. The elderly had more than 230 descendants in six generations.

2016年

2016年，举世瞩目的G20峰会在杭州举行，在迎接峰会的最后冲刺中，这座城市的颜值悄然发生着蝶变。9月3日，游客站在钱江南岸，用相机记录下钱江新城美轮美奂的灯光秀。

In 2016, the G20 Summit, a spotlight of the world, was held in Hangzhou. In the final spurt to usher in the summit, the appearance of Hangzhou was transformed quietly. On September 3, the tourists stood at the southern bank of the Qiantang River and took photos of the beautiful lights of Hangzhou CBD.

2018年

9月21日，建德市三都镇镇头村文化礼堂。浙江省第一万家农村文化礼堂启用之际，在全省组织开展“我们的家园——万家农村文化礼堂庆丰收”活动。

On September 21, 2018, a cultural auditorium was built at Zhentou Village, Sandu Town, Jiande City. When the first rural cultural auditorium was to be put into use in Zhejiang Province, an activity was organized across the province with the theme of “Our Homeland -- Harvest Celebrated at Rural Cultural Auditorium”.

2019年

3月30日，一年一度的杭州滨江“樱花跑”如期而至，1900多人参加了此次跑步，健身已成为民众的一种生活方式。

On March 30, 2019, the annual “Sakura Running” event held along the river of Hangzhou was kicked off as scheduled, attracting more than 1,900 participants. Exercising has become a lifestyle of the public.
