浙江省湖州市中医院护理部主任朱惠芳曾先后两次参与援外医疗队。2010年，中国第14批援中非医疗队出征，她是队员之一。初到中非的一个月，包括她在内的8名队员相继感染疟疾，可稍有恢复后，她便开始给患病的队员打针、照料起居。2012年8月，中非医疗队结束任期回到国内。

Zhu Huifang, director of the Nursing Department of the TCM Hospital of Huzhou, Zhejiang Province, has joined the overseas medical aid team for two times. In 2010, the 14th batch of Chinese medical teams to the Central Africa were sent out. She was one of the members. In the first month after she arrived, eight members in her team including herself were infected with malaria. After she recovered a bit, she began to give injections and take care of other members who were ill. In August 2012, the medical aid team finished their task and returned to China.

2016年底，我省开始征集中国第25批援马里医疗队队员，年近50岁的朱惠芳再次报名。朱惠芳说：“非洲人民需要中国医生，我想趁自己还年轻，再做一些有意义的事。”

At the end of 2016, Zhejiang Province began to gather members for the 25th batch of Chinese medical teams to Mali. Zhu Huifang, nearly 50 at that time, signed up again. “They need Chinese doctors. I am still young and I want to do some meaningful things,” Zhu said.

再次来到非洲后，朱惠芳每天清晨都会穿上印着中国国旗的白大褂，准时来到马里医院。负责管理护理部的她，对一些一次性的注射器、吊针被重复使用等现象 “零容忍”，一旦发现，便立即指出并做思想工作，开展“安全注射”培训，直到重复使用现象在医院里渐渐消失。

After she arrived in Africa again, she put on a white gown printed with the flag of China every morning and arrived at the hospital of Mali on time. In charge of the nursing department, she adopted a “zero tolerance” attitude towards phenomena such as repeated uses of disposable injection syringes and needles. Once discovered, she would point it out and give a lesson to the person involved, launch a training of “safe injection” until such phenomena vanished gradually from the hospital.

2018年6月，马里政府将3枚“国家骑士勋章”授予包括朱惠芳在内的3名中国第25批援马里医疗队队员。谈起这份荣誉，朱惠芳说：“一代代援外医疗队员的背后，都有强大祖国的支持。这枚勋章属于祖国和每一位队友。”此外，她还表示，每每想到非洲的病人们需要“中国医生”，内心便只剩下勇往直前的信念。

In June 2018, the government of Mali granted three “National Knight’s Medals” to three members of the medical team to Mali including Zhu Huifang. At the mention of the honor, she said, “Behind the overseas medical aid teams is the strong support of our motherland. This medal belongs to the motherland and all members.” In addition, she said, whenever she was reminded that African patients need “Chinese doctors”, she would cling tightly to the faith of moving on.
