Zhejiang and Jilin Exchange on Paired Cooperation and Poverty Alleviation was held on June 8. Yuan Jiajun, the governor of Zhejiang Province and Jing Junhai, the governor of Jilin Province attended the conference and delivered a speech.

Yuan Jiajun pointed out that the paired cooperation between the two provinces was a significant political responsibility. These years, Zhejiang has assumed its political responsibility to fully strengthen its paired cooperation and poverty alleviation collaboration with Jilin and have achieved good results in such areas as innovation of systems and mechanisms, construction of platforms and carriers, industrial collaboration and exchange of leaders and talents.

Zhejiang Province and Ningbo City will firmly implement the spirit of the important speech delivered by President Xi Jinping at the symposium about solving prominent problems including meeting the basic needs of food and clothing and guaranteeing compulsory education, basic medical care and housing, spare no effort to help Yanbian Prefecture to win the battle against poverty and promote the paired cooperation and poverty alleviation collaboration between Zhejiang and Jilin to a new height.

According to Yuan Jiajun, Zhejiang and Jilin Provinces are blessed with different resources, supplement each other in terms of industrial advantages and have a great space for cooperation. He hoped that both sides will continue to complement each other’s advantages and achieve mutual benefits, highlight the planning of platforms and construction of major projects, fully unleash the initiative of each party and the role of market entities, further deepen their cooperation in such key industries as high-end equipment manufacturing, electronic business, new energy automobile, modern agriculture, ecological tourism and life health, to yield more cooperation fruits and highlights.

Jing Junhai said, since the two provinces established a paired cooperation, both sides have deeply implemented the spirit of the important speech delivered by President Xi Jinping on paired cooperation, made frequent exchanges and close cooperation and yielded a lot of fruits.

He hoped that both sides will focus on the fulfillment of projects, unleash the subjective initiative of enterprises and promote the cooperation, docking and integration and develop a system. Both sides will focus on tourism development and develop green industries and cyclic economy, focus on industry cultivation, expand investment and develop projects around the development strategy of Jilin, the construction of “three segments” in the middle, east and west, and the industrial spatial layout, and promote the development and growth of such industries as new energy and smart internet automobile and modern agriculture. Both sides will focus on poverty alleviation collaboration, promote the assistance projects, deepen industrial collaboration and win the battle against poverty.
