On the morning of June 10, the Industry Aid Conference & Signing Ceremony of Cooperation Project between Zhejiang Province & Aksu Area (Alaer City of First Division of the Corps) was held in Ningbo, where 24 projects were signed with a total worth of 6.184 billion yuan, covering such fields as energy and chemical, textile and garment, agricultural and sideline product processing, real estate, building materials and equipment manufacturing, with the signed amount of a single project up to 1.8 billion yuan.

As a work department for assistance to Xinjiang appointed and dispatched by Zhejiang Provincial CPC Committee and Zhejiang Provincial Government, the provincial command offices for assistance to Xinjiang have made an active contribution to the local economic development and industrial upgrade.

From 2017 to 2018, the 9th batch of provincial command offices had insisted on a joint effort of the province and cities to coordinate the command office of each city for assistance to Xinjiang to lead and organize 214 industrial docking and investment inspection activities to Zhejiang Province and receive 864 batches of delegations and businesspeople who came to Aksu and First Division of the Corps for negotiation.

A total of 235 industrial cooperation projects have been reached, with a contract value of 56.096 billion yuan, a paid-in investment of 17.768 billion yuan, which have created 61,219 new jobs and filed 5,302 members of households in difficulty.

On the 21st China Zhejiang Investment & Trade Symposium, the provincial command offices for assistance to Xinjiang joined hands with the assisted regions to form delegations to the event.

The 24 exhibition booths of Aksu and Alaer City of the First Division of the Corps have attracted a lot of businesspeople and citizens for their “exhibition and sales of agricultural products and the experience of Xinjiang cuisine and an exhibition of the fruits of assistance to Xinjiang and folk custom culture”.

Musallas which is known as “yellow wine” of Aksu has been praised by wine lovers, and the national musical instrument Dutar has become a selfie prop for the visitors.
