The 1st China-CEEC Expo & International Consumer Goods Fair and the 21st China Zhejiang Investment & Trade Symposium are held in Ningbo, Zhejiang Province from June 8 to 12. A series of exciting events are taking place at the expo. Here's a list of highlights of the Overseas Economic and Trade Cooperation Zone and Yangtze River Delta Enterprise Matchmaking Event.

Introduction 

The Overseas Economic and Trade Cooperation Zone is an industrial park funded and established by Chinese enterprises in foreign countries which have aggregation and radiation effects and is an important platform for the enterprises to participate in BRI construction, international production capacity cooperation and foreign investment. Up until now twenty national overseas economic and trade cooperation zones have passed the national assessment. With four such zones, Zhejiang is the province with most national industrial parks in China, setting up an example for win-win cooperation of BRI.

Highlights

The docking meeting is a key “going global”program under the framework of the first China-CEEC Expo & International Consumer Goods Fair and the 21st China Zhejiang Investment & Trade Symposium.

The docking meeting aims to implement the Action Plan of Zhejiang Province to Build a BRI Hub, further unleash the advantages of economic and trade cooperation zones in strengthening cooperation of international production capacity and global presence of their value chains, reduce the costs and risks for enterprises to “go out” and guide them to invest and cooperate in foreign lands in an orderly manner. The launching ceremony of Zhejiang Provincial Development Alliance of Overseas Economic and Trade Cooperation Zones will also be held.
