Revel’s World of Shakespeare

Written and performed by Joseph Graves, an American who has been living in China since 2002, Revel’s World of Shakespeare tells a hilarious and moving story that happens between an ignorant boy and his harsh and overbearing teacher of Shakespeare in a wretched way.

Cai Lun: Marquis of Longting

Written and directed by renowned dramatist Chen Xinyi, Cai Lun: Marquis of Longting, tells the story of Cai Lun, inventor of paper, during his last three months in life. Starring well-known Peking opera singers, such as Guang Dongtian and Yan Qinggu, the stage play will feature Ein Heldenleben (A Hero’s Life) by Richard Strauss as the music score.

A Bite of China: 2021 Li Xiuqin Exhibition

A Chinese contemporary sculptor, and professor at China Academy of Art, Li Xiuqin is best known for her works in the concave-convex series. An extension of over 20 decades working on that series, this exhibition features porcelain and pottery works that are mostly in the shape of dumplings.

Alibaba Design Week

For five days, visitors will enjoy the works of Takashi Murakami, Daniel Arsham and many other celebrated artists. during the 2021 Alibaba Design Week, when the inaugural Usee Design and Art Exhibition will also be held. Limited-edition design products are expected to be launched. Moreover, futuristic technologies for design and co-branded products of Alibaba Design will be on show as well.
