The trade volume of China-Europe (Aisa) Cargo Railway and Sea-Rail Multimodal Railway at Jinhua Cargo Center of China Railway Shanghai Group Co.,Ltd. hits a record high just ahead of the Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation, which will open later this month.

On April 3, the arrival and departure of freight trains amounted to 15 carrying 1,316 TEUs. The international containers also reached a new high in terms of the total volume of dispatch and delivery in a single day.

The Jinhua Cargo Center constitutes the New Silk Road on Land and the New Maritime Silk Road. On land, it links Zhejiang's Yiwu City, the world's largest wholesale market for small consumer goods, with Spain and the Republic of Belarus by the China-Europe railway express. And it bridges Jinhua City with five Central Asian countries by the China-Asia railway.

As for the New Maritime Silk Road, the center connects Jinhua City with countries in Europe, Middle East and Africa by water route of Ningbo Zhoushan Port.

Commodities exported by Jinhua to countries along the Belt and Road include clothing, textile, accessories, ceramics, plastic products, general merchandise, electric tools, automobile parts, hardware, etc.
