On February 12, under the supervision of Zhoushan Customs officers, the oil tanker "Di Matteo" from Singapore, loaded with 40,000 tons of aviation kerosene produced by Zhejiang Petrochemical, slowly left Berth 6 of Zhejiang Petrochemical Base in Zhoushan Green Petrochemical Base, bound for Bangladesh. This is the first time Zhoushan port exported jet kerosene products.

"The successful export of aviation kerosene has enriched the export varieties of refined oil products of our company, further broadened overseas markets, enhanced international competitiveness, and also made the oil and gas industry chain of Zhejiang Free Trade Zone more complete." Zhejiang Petrochemical Co., LTD. Storage and transportation Division deputy general manager Zhang Huiqiang said.

In order to ensure the smooth export of the first batch of aviation kerosene, Zhoushan Customs provides advanced service, talks with export enterprises and agent enterprises to fully understand the export situation of aviation kerosene in detail, and responds to reasonable demands of enterprises. 

"The smooth export of aviation kerosene has laid a foundation for the normal development of the subsequent export of new refined oil products at Zhoushan Port. We will also actively explore ways to further improve the level of regulatory services and effectively serve the high-quality development of local economies." Zhoushan Customs supervision five section chief Gu Zhewei said.

With the full operation of Phase II of the 40 million tons/year refining and chemical integration project, Zhejiang Petrochemical has continuously improved its crude oil processing capacity and greatly increased its oil and chemical production capacity. Only the aviation kerosene project has achieved 260-300,000 tons/month production capacity, and it can adjust its production plan at any time according to the market demand to meet the international and domestic market demand.
