Xinchang has the reputation of “the hometown of bearings”, but its development was dragged on by its relatively poor industry layers and added value of products which is made up by SKF’s strength in high-speed rail, wind power generation, and aviation equipment. More than 300 bearing companies have been direct or indirect suppliers of SKF.
