The event was broadcast live on the media of Hangzhou and its five co-host cities delivering our keen wish for the big year 2022.

Right at the event, the torch “Xinhuo” for Hangzhou Asian Games made its official debut designed and guided by Prof. Wang Yun, also dean of the Research School of Industrial Design, China Academy of Art and co-led by three other teachers from the academy, Bao Tianqin, Chen Yunjia and Gu Cong for nearly a year the project was completed after repeated refinement and discussion of the team.

As you can see, it looks like the torch grows upside down with a total height of 730 millimeters, and a total weight of 1200 grams.

In the process of designing the torch corporation and integration of traditional culture and modern art and the presentation of those qualities unique to the host city of Hangzhou became the top concerns of the designing team.

Behind Hangzhou Asian Games, there are numerous such teams, who make their effort day in and day out. At this year of last victory preparation work of all aspects will continue to be promoted with high standards. With the eyes of people all over Asia fixed on Hangzhou, this fever of Asian Games is still on the rise and we have reasons to believe that Hangzhou will bring us many pleasant surprises next year.
