In today's interconnected world,the national character found in the creation of the Asian Games song gives it a special meaning. As an important part of the Asian Games preparation process on June 23rd, 2020the HAGOC officially launched a global call for musical works for the Hangzhou Asian Games.

Across the whole collection just 10 pieces stood out.in each of these three categories, songs, lyrics, and compositions. Exhibiting diversified styles, these songs raise the awareness of the Asian Games across the world. 

Waiting for You, Dear Asia and a few others have been introduced nationwide through fitness dance. In addition to the dances, the Asian Games 10-City Tour further promotes the songs to the cities,heralding the coming of the Asian Games in communities and universities taking the songs to every street corner and back alley.
