The name of the Hangzhou Asian Games mascot "Chen Chen" is derived from the iconic Gongchen Bridge on the Hangzhou section of the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal. Chen Chen is coloured techno-blue. The inspiration of its wave-shaped head comes from a rare wave of the Qianjiang River giving people endless imagination.
