A combination of traditional culture and modern activities always brings a wonderful feast for the senses.Paper-cutting, one of the intangible cultural heritage, it's going to show its unique charm in the Hangzhou Asian Games.

At the age of 90, Wu Shanzeng is the iconic inheritor of Pujiang paper-cutting. He started designing a fan for the Hangzhou Asian Games a few months ago. After continuous design and modification,the "Asian Games Fan" was finally made.

The fan features an intricate openwork design while incorporating elements such as the mascot and the landscape of Hangzhou. The scissors and carving knife are used to bring the design to life The design is in keeping with the atmosphere of the Asian Games and the flavour of Hangzhou.

The "Asian Games Fan" is a reflection of Zhejiang and Hangzhou Asian Games. It is also Wu Shanzeng's passion and love for the art of paper- cutting. To pass on the culture,Wu Shanzeng brings with him his craftsmanship and knowledge to teach more people who want to learn paper-cutting, Through the teaching and exhibition of his works and let more people know about the art of paper-cutting to learn about the Hangzhou Asian Games.
