Hangzhou Asian Games will commence officially in September 2022. In order to better meet the requirements of the Hangzhou Asian Games, Hangzhou Fire and Rescue Brigade shoulders the responsibility of Asian Games fire safety and urban fire safety maintenance. 

Thus, they have carried out various emergency drills in primary venues many times. The fire drill carried out at the "Big Lotus", 

incorporated new equipment and technology together, showing the good command of science and technology of the Hangzhou Fire and Rescue Brigade.

This 52m aerial ladder truck has a maximum boom length of 52m. With a fire engine, water cannon mounted on the working bucket with a water flow rate of 1800L. The ladder is extremely stable when lifting and lowering, which effectively enhances the firefighters' ability to carry out rescue tasks such as aerial firefighting and personnel rescue missions.

Firefighting robots can replace firefighters in complex situations, such as exposure to toxic, flammable, and explosive circumstances, where "human can't get close, reach or manage" to detect, search and rescue and extinguish the fire, effectively solving the problems of personal safety threats and insufficient data collection that firefighters face in these situations.

Drones can hover steadily in the air for long periods of time, approaching the fire site to observe the fire and the trapped. Real-time images of high-definition are beamed back through the network to improve the precision of the rescue and provide a great convenience to the rescue work.

Each of the drills achieved the expected goals and provided a safety foundation to the efficient and orderly operation during games time.
