The Hangzhou Asian Games' core graphics, ''Meeting the World", are inspired by the "landscape, clouds and silk". The interlacing of lines, outlining the flying silk ribbons' dynamics, combines the elements of Chinese color painting of landscapes and smart network clouds, transforming into a modern painting scroll of Dwelling in the Fuchun Mountains with the poetic oriental flavor.

The core graphics started with a euphemistic touch from the left and continued with openness and exclusiveness to the right.

It depicts the tender water of West Lake, the surging water of the Qiantang River, and the lengthy water of the Grand Canal, showing the world the richness of Hangzhou's watery landscape.

The design incorporates a novel pointillism effect, in which countless colored pixel dots are visually superimposed to create new vitality.

Silk, the local cultural element of Hangzhou, is a symbol of the city's grace, warmth, refinement, and vigor.

It is also a fusion of form, color, and concept, and is full of the aesthetic spirit of vitality and spontaneity, carrying the Asian Games spirit of perseverance and hard work, presenting Hangzhou Asian Games' artistic conception of "Meeting the World".
