For people in Hangzhou of Zhejiang province, there are only two kinds of mooncakes: pork and pickle mooncake and others. About a month and a half before the Mid-Autumn Festival, time-honored pastry shops in Hangzhou will gradually launch the pork and pickle mooncakes exclusively for the Mid-Autumn Festival. The feature of this mooncake is its crispy skin, big filling, abundant meat and clearly visible mustard tuber. These mooncakes are baked and sold in the shop, and have been in short supply since its launch.
