Jean Baptiste, a European designer, has a special fondness for Chinese product design. He is a product designer at Zhejiang Filo Industrial Design Co., Ltd in Yongkang, East China's Zhejiang province.

Baptiste said that as a manufacturing powerhouse, China offers numerous opportunities in product design. "China has many factories, and there are always new opportunities and projects, covering a wide range of products. At Filo, I've worked on everything from home appliances to gym equipment, a bit of everything."

"Many products we produce are sold to the European and American markets. I have a good understanding of consumer needs in these markets, and I also want to learn about the Chinese way of design. That's one of the main reasons I came here," he added.
