Liangzhu, a water town located between Taihu Lake and Tianmu Mountain in east China, is one of the regions where early human activities were traced. The archaeological ruins of Liangzhu City, inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List as a cultural site, provide a unique testimony to China’s 5,000-year history of civilization.
The second Liangzhu Forum kicked off on Monday in Hangzhou, capital of east China's Zhejiang Province. The forum holds significant importance in appreciating the charm of ancient civilizations, preserving historical and cultural heritage, and promoting cultural inheritance, development, exchanges and cooperation.
