Shaoxing Baseball & Softball Sports Centre, serving as the competition venue for baseball & softball during Asian Games Hangzhou 2022, takes the weaving process and silk ribbon, which are the most known specialties of Shaoxing, as its design inspiration. In doing so, the "silk thread" of structures and platforms connects various venues, the curve element of silk ribbon is also applied to its facades.
