Hangzhou Olympic Sports Centre Stadium, nicknamed "the Big Lotus" and located in Binjiang District, is the main stadium for Asian Games Hangzhou 2022 and also functions as the venue for athletics. Its shape is inspired by ancient silk texture and weaving system, its architectural form vividly reflects the surging waves of Qiantang River and its roof consists of 28 petal-shaped structures and 27 smaller ones.
