Bishal Thapa, captain of the Nepal paragliding national team and silver medalist of the 2018 Jakarta Asian Games, shared his story of paragliding in Zhejiang and his expectations for the Hangzhou Asian Games. Although there is no paragliding competition at the Hangzhou Asian Games, it has developed rapidly in Zhejiang in recent years. The paragliding flying conditions and the number of participants in Zhejiang are among the highest in China.
