The 19th Asian Games will be held in Hangzhou soon. As the city prepares to welcome athletes and visitors from around the world, the Main Media Centre is ready to serve journalists with a dynamic and immersive experience.
On September 1st, the Hangzhou Asian Games Main Media Centre (MMC) held a media tour. The first batch of 250 journalists went into the MMC and experienced the facilities and services of the "media house" during the games.
With an area of nearly 50,000 square meters, MMC provides media professionals with a range of functional areas designed to meet their needs. It is divided into multiple areas including the Main Press Centre (MPC), International Broadcasting Centre (IBC), commercial service area, restaurant and volunteer home. During the Asian Games, the main media centre will operate 24 hours a day.
The MMC is not only a space for work but also a platform for cultural exchange. Journalists had the opportunity to engage with Hangzhou's rich cultural heritage, experiencing traditional music performances and exhibitions. The design and layout of the MMC reflect the city's charm, with open spaces and eco-friendly elements that create a welcoming and vibrant atmosphere.
As an important non-competition venue for the Hangzhou Asian Games, the MMC will officially start operation on September 18th.
