The Olympic Council of Asia has announced the dates for the Chefs de Mission Seminar for the 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou, China.

The two-day CDM Seminar for delegation leaders of OCA's National Olympic Committees will take place in Hangzhou from April 25-26 – some five months before the Games begin on Sept 23.

In a circular to the NOCs dated Feb 20, OCA Acting President Raja Randhir Singh provided details of the seminar, with meetings and venue tours to be held on both days, followed by an optional city tour and cultural programs on April 27.

The CDM Seminar is a major step on the road to all multi-sport games, giving the organizing committee an opportunity to present key information in all the functional areas and the NOCs the chance to ask for details on specific matters.

The 19th Asian Games will be held in Hangzhou, the capital of Zhejiang province in eastern China, from Sept 23 to Oct 8.
