The Global Youth Club along with Hatoo Network Technology invited Mr. Zhu, a famous calligraphy artist, to give a special lecture titled "Chinese Intangible Cultural Heritage - The Charm of Calligraphy Art".
Mr. Zhu once lived in Spain and France for 28 years. He witnessed the current situation of overseas Chinese education and personally experienced the global trend from "China fever" to "Chinese language fever". Since 2010, he focused on the overseas Chinese online teaching industry and provided services for Online Chinese education to overseas Chinese and foreigners who want to learn Chinese, to help them understand China and Chinese culture.
Mr. Zhu took "Chinese characters as the condensation of the Chinese spirit" as the starting point, emphasizing that Chinese calligraphy is a line art that embodies the unique aesthetic taste of the Chinese people and comprehensively reflects the inner character of people. He vividly analyzed the "five steps" of calligraphy, inheritance and innovation of calligraphy, calligraphy and traditional Chinese culture, calligraphy and life, calligraphy and nature. He explained the core value and aesthetic character of calligraphy in a simple and easy-to-understand way, and reiterated the role of calligraphy in cultivating people. The importance of students' aesthetic ability and cultural taste.
Students from overseas countries were attracted by this lecture and followed the guide from Mr.Zhu to practice. Ganendra from Indonesia loved Chinese culture since he was a child and has a strong interest in Chinese characters and calligraphy.
