Hangzhou is the centre of the live-streaming e-commerce industry. The Global Youth Club invites international students from all over the world to promote the products of Hangzhou's local brands through live streaming.

Ganendra from Indonesia is a sophomore majoring in International Economics and Trade. He introduced Zhang Xiaoquan Scissors in the live stream.

Zhang Xiaoquan Scissors is a Hangzhou brand with a history of more than 300 years. The brand was awarded the top brand in Chinese scissors-knife industry. The traditional folk scissors are the original products of Zhang Xiaoquan Scissors. Today it has six series including more than 300 types of scissors.

Kefayat Ullar Samit from Nuakali, Bangladesh, a senior student in college, selled Hangzhou Paradise Umbrella .

Paradise Umbrella is a famous brand of umbrellas produced by Hangzhou Paradise Umbrella Group Co., Ltd., which is one of the biggest manufacturer, seller and developer of umbrellas in China.  It leads China's umbrella industry with its high quality and superior technology, enjoying a high reputation both at home and abroad. 

Bushra Yesmin from Bangladesh recommended Hangzhou's Longjing green tea in a live broadcast.

Longjing tea is a type of pan-fried green tea produced in the Longjing Village area of Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province. Longjing tea is mostly handmade and is known for its excellent quality.

Bushra said that using live streaming to promote tea allows the consumer to see what the drink actually looks like. She would love to introduce livestream shopping to her friends because it is more vivid and authentic than the classic online shopping style.
