Cultural lecture at ZJOU allow international students to experience Chinese calligraphy

On November 7, a cultural lecture was held for international students at Zhejiang Ocean University. Associate Professor Wang Yandi hosted a wonderful lecture titled "Chinese Art Appreciation and Practice." This lecture focused on China's intangible cultural heritage and allowed international students to experience the art of Chinese calligraphy.

Associate Professor Wang Yandi is the deputy secretary-general of the Zhejiang Educational Calligraphy Association and a member of the Zhejiang Folk Artists Association.

Professor Wang’s lecture attracted a diverse group of students and became a unique platform for exploring and learning Chinese culture. Following the teachings of experts, international students try to use a brush to write the Chinese character "福" and learn about the unique aesthetics and cultural connotations of Chinese calligraphy.

The purpose of this lecture is not only to teach the skills of Chinese calligraphy to students from different countries, but also to cultivate a deep understanding of the cultural symbolism contained in this art form among international students.
