Francis is the deputy general manager of Juli Automation in Jiaxing, East China's Zhejiang province. He is passionate about Chinese culture and actively promotes the Chinese language.


"My first visit to China was in 2004, nearly 20 years ago, when I was still a university student in Germany. After returning home, I realized how much I loved China, and I've always wanted to come again," said Francis. Then he moved to Jiaxing in 2019.


Collaborating with several foreign friends, Francis spent almost a year compiling a guidebook for foreigners to learn Chinese.


As a sports enthusiast, Francis finds his workplace equipped with a gym, and the parks around his home allow him to enjoy fitness, cycling, and jogging during his leisure time. He also created his unique cuisine blending Chinese and foreign flavors. Whether strolling through the food market after work or enjoying the convenience of food delivery, he has fully integrated into the life here.
