The inaugural of "African Digital Trade Day" was held on Sept 26 during the third Globle Digital Trade Expo (GDTE). This event encompassed a diverse range of activities, including the "digital and smart China-Africa" industrial matchmaking session, thematic exhibitions on "smart Africa" and "African E-commerce", offline inspections under the theme of shared digital trade, and online promotions of African goods.

The event has attracted dozens of enterprises to display the latest achievements of China-Africa digital trade cooperation, to further expand the space for China-Africa cooperation and achieve mutual benefit and win-win results.

In 2023, Zhejiang's trade volume with Africa reached $53.9 billion, maintaining its top position nationwide for two consecutive years. During the first half of this year, Zhejiang's trade with Africa continued to grow, with imports surging by 13 percent.
