On December 12, Zhejiang held the 86th press conference on COVID-19 prevention and control. Officials from the local health commission and the provincial center for disease control and prevention introduced the current status of COVID-19 prevention and control as well as the economic and social development of Zhejiang Province. 

Since December 5, a total of 138 confirmed cases and one asymptomatic case have been reported in Ningbo, Shaoxing and Hangzhou. 44 confirmed cases were reported in Ningbo. A total of 77 confirmed cases and one asymptomatic case were reported in Shaoxing. Hangzhou has reported a total of 17 confirmed cases.

Zhejiang has investigated 6,116 close contacts and 19,311 secondary close contacts, and control measures have been well implemented.

Nucleic acid tests have been carried out on 6.1834 million people in the three places, and 4.3493 million people have been tested negative.
