On the morning of December 14, the closing ceremony of the 2022 Focus On Zhejiang International Cultural Exchange Event (hereinafter referred to as "Focus On Zhejiang") wrapped up in Hangzhou. 

The event is hosted by the Information Office of the Zhejiang Provincial Government and the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism. Representatives of Zhejiang International Cultural Exchange Bases and foreigners in Zhejiang participated in the closing ceremony.

"Each activity is the thought pursuit across thousands of miles. Standing at the historical node of the upcoming Hangzhou Asian Games, we strive to pursue the vision of a better life and we would like to work hand in hand with international friends to create a better future.” Xu Peng, deputy director of Zhejiang Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism said.

12 Zhejiang International Cultural Exchange Bases including Zhejiang Conservatory of Music, Zhejiang International Studies University, Zhejiang Art Museum, Yiwu Industrial and Commercial College, Zhejiang Hengdian World Studio, Wenzhou-Kean University, Zhejiang Provincial Museum, and Ningbo Tianyige Museum, were awarded for their contributions to global cultural exchanges at the closing ceremony. 

During the whole year of 2022, Zhejiang has hosted a series of promotions, exchanges and exhibitions in many countries abroad, such as the "Harmonious Beauty" Picturesque Zhejiang European promotion conference, the European special exhibition of Song Dynasty's Painting of "Chinese Painting Series", the series of culture and tourism exchange activities for the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Japan in "Picturesque Zhejiang and meet in Fuji Mountain", the China-Africa Cultural Cooperation and Exchange Week, and the "Beautiful Habitat” multi-dimensional image exhibition, continuously improving the brand image and international influence of Zhejiang.
