Salted-crab, Zezi Tofu, Begging Chicken, Mantis Shrimp, Jinyun Shaobing, Lanxi Beef Noodle... More and more Zhejiang cuisines have been added to the "favorite menu" of international friends. Unlike ordinary tourists who only visit famous scenic spots, international friends living in Zhejiang also have a better understanding of local culture and folk customs and become "New Zhejiang Citizens".

“Openness” is a keyword to describe Zhejiang’s social and economic development. On the occasion of the opening of the 15th CPC Zhejiang Provincial Congres, “In Zhejiang” Global Communication Network has released a video series called “Love Zhejiang, Future in Zhejiang”.We have interviewed a few international friends from different countries living in Zhejiang, listening to their stories and learning about their expectations and suggestions for Zhejiang as their "second hometown".

In the 2nd episode, “See Zhejiang’s Impressive Points”, our international friends have been strongly impressed by the Zhejiang people and cultures. Some of them can even speak one or two local dialects for greetings and daily conversations, which even Chinese people can feel is hard to deal with.

When talking about the most impressive aspect of Zhejiang, the respondents not only mentioned the rapid economic and social development but also gave a thumb-up to the integration of the city and the environment in Zhejiang. As Zhejiang becomes more and more open, the remarkable wisdom, diverse cultures, environmental protection, and economic development of Zhejiang are being increasingly attractive to the world.
