Hangzhou Airport: In Hangzhou, there is one airport – Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport, which is located on the southern shore of Qiantang River in Xiaoshan District. The airport was opened on December 30, 2000. With an apron of 680,000 square meters, 12 passenger boarding bridges, and 46 remote stands, it is the biggest airport in Zhejiang Province. 


From Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport to the downtown area

By airport shuttle bus:

The waiting room for the shuttle bus is near the north Entrance (No 5) at the Arrival Hall on the first floor. The shuttle bus will take passengers to the Wulin Gate (Wulinmen) stop at downtown Hangzhou.

Ticket prices: 20 yuan ($3).

Operation hours:

7:30am-9:30am; 30 minutes.

9:30am-5pm: 15 minutes.

(Note: times refer to the waiting period from when the first passenger boards the bus).

 

By cab:

The cab stand is located outside entrance No 5 of the Arrival Hall, which is on the first level. Cab fare should be less than 100 yuan from Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport to downtown Hangzhou.

Fare: the starting price is 11 yuan, 10 yuan for the first 3km and an additional 1 yuan for fuel fee. For distance within 10km, the rate is 2 yuan/km; for distance above 10km, the rate is 3 yuan/km. The waiting charge is 2 yuan every five minutes.

 

For luxury cabs at the airport:

Fare: the starting price is 10 yuan for first 2.5km. For distances within 8km, the rate is 3 yuan/km; for distances above 8km, the rate is 5 yuan/km.

There are no additional charges for cabs during peak hours or late at night. Smoking is not allowed in any cab, and if the driver smokes while driving, passengers have the right to refuse payment.
