The Qiandao Lake in Chun'an County has become a resort for countless cycling enthusiasts. Apart from that, three major events, namely cycling, triathlon and swimming in open waters, will be held here during the Hangzhou Asian Games.

As one of the competition venues of the 2022 Asian Games, Chun'an Cycling Hall covers 32,000 square meters, of which the building area is 24,000 square meters, with 3,040 seats in the venue.

Equipped with membrane structure and glass curtain wall, combined with computer’s control, the project tries to achieve dynamic change and colorful architectural effect, and create a beautiful "Pearl" of Qiandao Lake.

In 2022, guests from all over the world will be welcomed here, and this "pearl" is waiting for the moment when it is unveiled to the world.

Since many years ago, bicycle rental services have been everywhere in Chun'an. There are not only special cycling tourist reception centers, but also some roadside hotels and restaurants with bike rental services. Bicycles have penetrated into every corner of Chun'an.

Since 2006, the International Road Cycling Tournament around Qiandao Lake has become one of the highest-level amateur races in China. The annual quota of hundreds of candidates is far from meeting the needs of cyclists all over the world, and there are endless people who come here initiatively.

In addition to attracting professional cyclists from all over the world, the 140 km track around the lake is also the best choice for ordinary tourists to admire the beauty of Qiandao Lake.

Since 2013, Chun'an arranged 5 million yuan of guiding funds for the development of the sports and leisure industry every year to serve large-scale competitions.

Chun'an is using the resources in the county to create different events. Base on roads and greenways, it has held bicycle, marathon, and triathlon events; using its water resource, it has created open water swimming, rowing, dragon boat events; taking mountain resources as the carrier, it has arranged competitions such as mountaineering and cross-country running.

In 2019, Chun'an received more than 40,000 participants, with direct consumption of 60 million yuan, and the consumption of tourism, transportation, accommodation, catering, etc. generated by competitions reached more than 100 million yuan.

Chun 'an is forging ahead bravely with the ambition of building a cycling kingdom and leisure city.
