Construction for the Hangzhou Canal Culture & Art Center, which is located to the northwest of Bei Da Qiao of Mo Gan Shan Lu, has recently completed and will open this month. 

The center is built on the site of Hangzhou Thermopower Station, and is part of the Thermopower Station Chimney Square transformation project. It occupies an area of 7,000 sqm and has a floor area of 12,000 sqm with four floors above ground and a basement floor.

The center will has a reserved theater for the Mahua FunAge comedy troupe as well as 500 “black box” mini theaters. In addition, the theater will rent out its space for art training classes, cultural creation companies and exhibitions. The property service will be provided by Joy City Property.
