A special wonton shop in Huangdu village, Anji county, Huzhou, Zhejiang province, has been attracting a steady stream of visitors.

Chen Mingyan, born in 1989, grew up learning tea cultivation and processing from her elders, and opened a wonton shop in October last year.

Later, Chen had the idea to incorporate tea into the wontons. "At first, we tried using tea leaves harvested in the middle to late stages of the picking season to save costs. However, we found the taste too bitter, so we switched to using premium Anji white tea harvested early in the season," Chen explained.

After a series of trials and refinements, she created a signature dish with a delicate tea essence that appeals to a younger demographic and draws visitors from all over.

With daily sales exceeding 300 bowls of wontons and generating over 7,000 yuan ($968.54) in revenue, Chen is thrilled to see returning tourists. She views their appreciation as a testament to the quality of Anji white tea and the successful integration of tea culture into everyday life.
