A consumer-grade exoskeleton robot priced at 2,500 yuan ($343.8) by Hangzhou-based RoboCT Technology, a leader in exoskeleton robotics, sold out within 15 seconds after launching online recently, highlighting the growing demand for affordable wearable robotics.
Designed to reduce walking fatigue, the EasyGo exoskeleton assistive device has a weight of just 2.5 kilograms, is battery-free, and is powered by mechanical support. It reduces physical effort for users by around 10 percent, making climbing stairs and long walks easier.

The device has attracted a diverse customer base, including seniors, individuals recovering from injuries, and even scenic spots looking to enhance accessibility.
Following the rapid sell-out, pre-orders are piling up, with a second batch expected in May. RoboCT Technology also plans to launch powered exoskeletons in June, further expanding its product lineup.
As the industry accelerates, more AI-driven exoskeletons with advanced features are set to enter the market, bringing futuristic mobility solutions into everyday life.
