The Livestreaming E-commerce Digital Mansion was inaugurated in Yiwu county-level city in Jinhua, Zhejiang province, on March 18, underscoring Yiwu's progress in digital infrastructure, AI technology utilization, and global resource integration.
The office space is designed to establish a comprehensive ecosystem of "e-commerce + livestreaming + platform", empowering businesses through digital tools, and positioning Yiwu as a global digital trade exemplar.
It plans to attract livestreaming e-commerce firms, high-quality supply chain entities, MCN agencies, and e-commerce service providers. It also plans to create over 100 multi-functional livestreaming rooms and a platform that merges big data with AI for intelligentization, offering a unified platform for global cross-border product displays, transactions, and ecological collaborations.
It will provide services like product selection, training, and investment facilitation for industry experts, prominent livestreamers, and merchants, in order to help Yiwu enterprises expand globally and grow through new channels.
Yiwu has been implementing the "digital empowerment and AI-driven" strategy, innovating the "livestreaming + industry + platform" model, and enhancing its cross-border e-commerce ecosystem.
In 2024, the city hosted 883,000 livestreaming sessions, marking a 29.28 percent increase year-on-year, with retail sales reaching 59.75 billion yuan ($8.26 billion), a 21.74 percent surge, which helped drive over 100,000 enterprises towards digital transformation.
