AI-powered civil servants are transforming government operations in Yuhang district of Hangzhou – capital of East China's Zhejiang province – with the launch of AIPPT, an intelligent assistant developed in collaboration with Alibaba DingTalk.

Now in internal testing, AIPPT automates PowerPoint creation – reducing the time required for government employees to prepare reports and presentations.

Unlike conventional AI tools that handle isolated tasks, AI Yuhang – the underlying intelligent system – reportedly functions as a super AI agent with advanced coordination of workflows, open integration and self-evolution capabilities.

AI Yuhang introduces key innovations, including a dual-engine AI powered by DeepSeek and Tongyi models, seamless integration with Zhejiang's government collaboration platform Zhezhengding and the ability for departments to create tailored AI assistants for specific tasks.

Built on Hangzhou's trusted cloud infrastructure, it is said to ensure robust data security and privacy.

In the coming months, more AI-powered civil servants – such as Shu Xiao Zhi (a data assistant), Smart Consultation, Anti-Fraud Helper and Yan Xiao Fang (a policy advisor) – will be deployed across Yuhang's governance system, providing support for administrative tasks.
