At the Qixia campus of Wuyi Experimental Primary School in Wuyi county, Jinhua, Zhejiang province, teachers recently inspected a batch of new desks and reclinable chairs that enable students to lie down for their lunchtime nap.

"This semester, we procured 360 sets of these chairs. During class, they function as normal chairs, while during nap time, they can recline back, providing students with a comfortable alternative to sleeping face down on their desks," explained Vice-principal Lyu Ye.

The Hushan campus of Hushan Primary School in Wuyi is also taking measures to offer a better learning experience. Workers were recently busy decorating the maker laboratory, installing projectors and blackboards.

Teacher Yuan Liyanan highlighted the new lab's features, including robots and other cutting-edge equipment aligning with competition standards such as the China Adolescent Robotics Competition. "Students can engage in hands-on learning in the form of programming and controlling robots as they explore the realm of robotics technology."

As schools in the county gear up for the new academic year, these innovative initiatives promise an enriched learning environment and a fresh start for students.
