The 11th Wuzhen Theater Festival will be held at Wuzhen, Jiaxing, East China's Zhejiang province, from Oct 17 to 27, with the theme of "solidity", according to the festival's press conference on August 6.

The artistic director Meng Jinghui announced the list of specially invited plays and highlights of the festival this year.

A total of 24 works from 11 countries and regions will be staged in 11 theaters in Wuzhen, holding 86 performances during the 11-day theater festival.
