Six young students from Quzhou — Sun Zhuo'an, Liu Zehao, Shao Yichen, Zeng Yuzhe, Liu Jinyu, and Miao Yihan — clinched two championships in the middle school category at the 2024 World Robot Contest in Kunming on July 24.


The two teams formed by these talented students showcased exceptional skills and innovation.


The World Robot Contest is a prestigious event often dubbed the "Olympics of the Robotics". Since its inception in 2015, the contest has grown to attract nearly 300,000 participants from over 20 countries. The competition consists of selection rounds, championships, and a grand finale, making it a comprehensive test of robotics prowess.


This year's edition saw fierce competition, with over 3,900 teams and 8,000 contestants competing across 21 major events over five days.
