A group of 15 teachers and students from Temple University of the US started a study tour in Suichang county, Lishui, East China's Zhejiang province, on June 18.

At a primary school in Suichang, they explored various intangible cultural heritages and marveling at the exquisite skills such as Chinese calligraphy, sand painting, pottery and paper cutting.

They also visited Suichang Intangible Cultural Heritage Museum and Tangxianzu Memorial Hall. The Kunqu Opera performance, long zongzi culture, and She ethnic costumes provided the international students with an immersive experience of traditional Chinese culture.

"I think the traditional costumes of women are very beautiful. I am deeply impressed by the custom of giving long zongzi to the bride. I am glad to experience Chinese culture here," said Keisha Janian, a student at Temple University.
