A group of 45 international students from 31 countries recently participated in a cultural exchange in Suichang county of Lishui, East China’s Zhejiang province.

They witnessed the integration of traditional arts into local education at a primary school in Suichang. They toured the tea garden and experienced the charm of traditional Chinese opera at Tang Xianzu Memorial.

" I made many Chinese friends in China. We will participate in cultural exchanges, and scientific research cooperation to promote friendship and cooperation between countries," said Panama student Chen Qiu Luisa.

The event, organized by Zhejiang Normal University and Suichang Education Bureau, aims to enhance international students’ understanding of China's educational modernization.
