Jiaxing's manufacturing prowess has once again been showcased on the global stage, this time at the Paris Olympics. The city's products, known for their quality and innovation, have become a staple at international events.
The athlete accommodations at the Olympic Village in Paris feature 3,000 lazy sofas from Rayri Hometextile (Jiaxing) Co Ltd, notable for their eco-friendly design. Made from recyclable sponge scraps and a waterproof, flame-resistant fabric, these sofas represent a breakthrough in combining safety and sustainability.
The development of these sofas was a complex task, balancing the contradictory needs of waterproofing and flame resistance. After extensive research and collaboration, Fei Zhongfu, chairman of Rayri Hometextile and his team innovated a new production process that integrated both features without compromise.
