In the dawn of the New Year, the historical and cultural district of Luqiao, Taizhou, dazzles with its novel, ancient charm. The "Waterway Bridge" - a unique tourism route - made its debut over the New Year holiday. Stretching from Jiayang Lake Ecological Wetland Park in the west to Daoxiang Fruit Orchard in the south, the route encompasses various attractions like Feilong Lake, the picturesque Ten-Mile Street, Luqiao Park, Central Mountain Park, and the vibrant Seven-Color Flower Field. Built alongside the Nanguan River, Ten-Mile Street showcases Ming and Qing dynasty architecture with distinctive two-story stilted houses adorned with intricate carvings of flora, fauna, and figures. The 5-kilometer long street, paved with blue stone slabs, comprises seven sections, including Hexi Street and Xinxia Street, offering a glimpse into the affluent and charming Jiangnan-style Luqiao of yesteryears.
